At least in my experience, you know what’s one of the worst parts about getting pissed off? That when it happens, it always seems to be directed towards the people who actually least deserve it.

Consider this yet another case of that. I got some explanation about the actual intent of the tags…and yeah, I actually wasn’t in consideration when those were written. Of course. Should have most likely known better, haha.

So, basically, I misunderstood the full context, and acted a good bit out of line as a result of that. I was wrong. And awkwardnesstotherescue, I am sorry.

There are innumerable kinds of comments/backlash that I can take in stride, can take in good fun and humor.

The seeming implication that I am, in some way, sexuality-discriminant is not one of them.

Hell, the thought that someone would say that I probably didn’t like Kawoshin because teh gayz give me the creeps weighed heavily enough on me that I even addressed it in that little essay—see second picture, underlined, see the original damn post.

And if it isn’t clear enough from just that statement, the reason why I’m not anti-shonen-ai or anti-yaoi is because I am neither a bigot nor a prude. Shinji being queer or not is no issue. Not an affront to my sensibilities. NONE WHATSOEVER.

At least please read the original fucking content before making value judgments against the writer.

And even if a lot of this here “American Evangelion fandom” actually IS like that, at least give me the fucking decency of not lumping me in with the rest of them.

Just found this out like 20 minutes ago, and it makes me super happy like you won’t believe. I’ve despised the damn thing—seemed like the most massive waste of money and time. I didn’t even get a single grade back on any of my assignments. EVER.

University of Wyoming Police have issued a citation to Meg Lanker-Simons for a charge of interference. According to the citation “Subject admitted to making a controversial post on UW Crushes webpage and then lied about not doing it.”

An anonymous statement posted to the UW Crushes Facebook page last week caused a controversy. The post stated that the author would like to copulate with Lanker-Simons in an angry manner. At the time, Lanker-Simons came out publicly against the post saying that she had felt threatened by it and perceived the post as a rape-threat.

University of Wyoming spokesperson Chad Baldwin said that the citation was the result of UW Police Department’s investigation into the UW Crushes Facbook incident, but could not comment further.
